East Wing Venue
May Brothers Building houses Milady Coffeehouse & East Wing Venue. East Wing Venue, our beautiful, private room, can only be truly appreciated by stepping inside! Take a virtual tour via our East Wing Venue Facebook page and/or schedule a tour with Mary, our event coordinator. Videos & pictures alone do not do it justice! The space has many beautiful chandeliers, 60” round tables and black folding chairs, state-of-the-art audio and video technology, a kitchen, a full refrigerator for use, a wood floor area for dancing, and much more. There is access through our alleyway for food caterers.
Alcohol: Bringing in your own alcohol is strictly prohibited. We have our own liquor license and beverage catering service. Bartending fees, security fees, etc. may apply.

Hourly Rental Rates
A $200 deposit is required to reserve a date in East Wing Venue. This will be returned 1-3 days after your event if rental times are honored and no incidental damage occurs.
Saturday & Sunday rental times are available between either 7:00 am -12:00 pm, 12:00 – 5:00 or 5:00 – midnight. We do not rent by the ½ hour.
Note: Included in our rental rate for East Wing Venue will be room set up with our basic configuration of 6-8 round tables with 7 chairs at each, on the main carpeted area. Discuss further with the rental coordinator. See below for clean up information.

Additional Fees
Decorating time (not to be confused with Room Set Up) must be included in your overall reservation hours. Our renters are surprised by how few decorations are needed as our space is so lovely. One hour is sufficient for most with preplanning, helpers, & minimal decorations.
Advanced Set Up by Event Coordinator: $100
- Set up tables and chairs per the renter’s provided floor plan
- Setting out of simple (table) decorations
- Availability by EWV event coordinator for caterer direction & assistance
Clean Up Fee: $200
A complimentary 1 hour of time is given for clean up. If you opt for EWV staff to do the clean up it is $200. If you provide the clean up, all items on the checklist below need to be completed before the deposit is returned.
- Wipe off all tables & place tables in table rack
- Replacement of chairs on chair racks or arranged on floor (see coordinator for details)
- Vacuum the carpet
- Dust mop the wood floor
- Wipe the kitchen surfaces & vacuum or dust mop the kitchen floor
- Return all furniture to original location if moved
- Place all trash in the large dumpster in back
- Other items as deemed necessary
Milady Coffeehouse Venue
la Partie
A portion of our main Milady Coffeehouse living rooms is available to reserve/rent. It is semi-private. When renting in Milady, the portion for rent is the southern ⅓ portion which includes a large brown farmhouse table with 10 chairs, a white marble-look table with 4 chairs, a brown table with 4 chairs (not pictured), and various upholstered chairs. Two square white pop-up card tables and extra folding chairs are also available for use. Ropes & stanchions define the area so other patrons know this area is reserved for you.
This space is perfect for 10-25 people for small bridal or baby showers, small retirement parties where people come and go, and other small special occasion gatherings.

*Important Notes: We do not rent by the ½ hour. The deposit will be returned 1-3 days after your event if rental times are honored and no incidental damage occurs. Full payment is due two weeks prior to the event. Dates will not be held without a deposit. We allow 20 minutes prior to your rental time for set up. If you arrive earlier than this, your deposit will be forfeited. (Ex. you rent from 1-3 but may arrive at 12:40 for set up and must begin cleaning up at 3:00 for the deposit to be refunded). Some parties also opt to forfeit the deposit if the party is not ready to conclude and you’d like an extra hour. This option is available ONLY if another party does not follow yours.
You may park in the back/south parking lot where there is a designated (unlocked for parties) entrance. A cart is available at the back entrance for your use in transporting food, etc. Guests and persons with mobility issues may also enter here.

Food & Drink: Outside alcohol of any kind is prohibited. Mimosas may be purchased at the coffeehouse counter with advanced notice. You may bring in your own food, bottled water, and sodas. Hot coffee, cold brew coffee, and iced tea must be purchased in house. A full beverage catering menu is available upon request. Some favorites are:
